General Terms and Conditions (GTC) of the Institute for Emotionally Focused Therapy GbR (IEFT) in Munich, represented by Dr. Imke Herrmann and Dr. Lars Auszra
1 registration
The following applies to the registration for individual events:
The registration is done via email to the IEFT. The IEFT will check whether the registration requirements (these can be found in the announcement of the respective course) are met and will confirm the registration via email if the respective requirements are met. Registrations will be considered in the order in which the emails are received. With your registration you submit a binding offer of contract. The conclusion of the contract only comes into existence after the receipt of the course fees on the account of the IEFT.
The following applies to the registration for the multi-part training in Emotional Focused Therapy:
The IEFT will check whether the registration requirements (which can be found in the announcement) are met and will confirm the registration by e-mail. The contract is concluded after the receipt of the event fee on the account of the IEFT and the receipt of the signed contract (link) to the IEFT. Registrations will be considered in the order of receipt of the signed contracts.
The following applies to the booking of individual events:
The participant has to pay the fees for the events in the wake of registration. Only when the fees are received on the account of the IEFT, the event is considered booked.
2 Event fees
Unless otherwise stated, the fees indicated on the homepage or advertising materials include participation in the event or training and, if applicable, the administration of conference drinks and snacks. Arrival and departure as well as overnight stays are not included.
For the booking of the multi-part training in emotionally-focused therapy the regulations set out in the contract are valid.
3 Implementation of the events
The IEFT can also make necessary changes to the information on the events in the programme booklet or on the Internet after the conclusion of the contract. The changes will be announced on the Internet and by e-mail to participants who have already registered. Registered participants may withdraw from the contract within 14 days after notification of a change. The fees will then be reimbursed.
There is no entitlement to instruction by a specific lecturer.
There is no entitlement to compensation for a day of instruction missed by the participant.
Continuing education points: education points can only be issued if the participant has paid the course fees and confirmed his or her attendance at the course by personally signing the attendance list.
4 Disclaimer of liability
The participants are responsible for their personal belongings and valuables. The IEFT is not obliged to provide lockers or similar safekeeping or guarding facilities. No liability can be assumed in the event of theft. No liability can be assumed for damage during the journey to or from the event, or during the event itself, beyond that required by law.
5 Data protection
The participants' data recorded in the course of the contract processing are stored in the Institute's own IT systems in strict compliance with the statutory data protection provisions.
6 Property rights and copyrights
The reproduction of any kind of extracts or the complete materials from the events may only be carried out with the prior express written permission of the IEFT, with the exception of those for purely personal use.
7 Right of withdrawal and cancellation conditions
Notice of termination must be sent in writing via registered mail to the Institute for Emotional-Focused Therapy Munich IEFT, Nymphenburger Str. 154, 80634 Munich. In the case of a termination in advance via e-mail, the date of receipt of the e-mail is considered the date of termination, provided that the postal notice of termination is received immediately thereafter.
In case of a change of date for a workshop by the IEFT after the conclusion of the contract, the participant may withdraw from the contract for this workshop and any following workshops booked free of charge within 10 days after notification of the change of date by e-mail. The costs for the cancelled workshops will then be refunded or credited as payments to replacement workshops, if such workshops are booked by the participant.
In case of cancellation of a speaker or due to a too low number of participants or other compelling reasons that prevent the proper execution of the event, IEFT reserves the right to withdraw from the contract for this event. Any fees already paid will be refunded accordingly. Any further claims for damages shall be excluded.
When booking a single workshop, a cancellation is possible up to 4 weeks before the beginning of the event. If you cancel after this period up to one week before the event, we have to charge you 50% of the seminar fees. In case of a later cancellation or in case of non-appearance at the events or premature termination of participation, the full participation fee must be paid.
The conditions for a cancellation of the booking of the multi-part training in Emotional Focused Therapy are regulated in the training contract.
8 Validity
The terms and conditions are valid until the release of a new revised version.
